The rate of fire and range are just horrible and the stun is very brief. I tried it already which is why I came to the conclusion that Blue2's are crap. I'll report back with some screen shots when I am done. Would there be enough to consistently freeze a number of vectoids and halt their advance, or would they just be slowed down somewhat? Oddly enough, Im doing that right now. ![]() Quote:Originally posted by BuckG:quote:Originally posted by Bob Loblaw:I wonder what the effect of an entire row of Blue2s would be. I wonder what the effect of an entire row of Blue2s would be. Stopping those last 2 vectoids dead for a couple seconds allows for another extra volley from the red 3s to finish them off. If you are having trouble taking out a specific round of vectoids, blue 2's are actually very good for stopping the stragglers right before they leave the range of your main guns. Not to nitpick, but it is important because in the previous version of this game I believe money compounded when the last enemy was defeated meaning that if you wanted to sell towers that round (because say they were only needed for that sort of enemy) you'd need to do it during the battle conversely if you want to build something for the next round it is natural to want to build when you have time to look a plan where as you should start the next wave and THEN build.Edit:Blue2 is awful. Tomato TamatoAfter the end of the previous round is the beginning of the next round, so we're saying the same thing in effect. The interest comes when you hit "Send the Vectoids." So you want to start a level, then spend immediately. If you absolutely need to buy anything, wait until after the round ends before buying it, that way you get interest on the money you do have before spending it. Stick to blue 1's on the first row and red 3's on the second and third rows. ![]()
